Staines property market experiencing unexpected boom time

With 2020 unquestionably a year none of us will forget, one of the most surprising developments of late has been a heightened interest in property.

Due to its proximity to the capital Staines, Spelthorne and the surrounding commuter villages has always been a property hotspot, but after a spring which put the buying and selling of property on ice, the activity of late has been unprecedented.

With a sizeable team of conveyancing experts in Staines, we at Dale and Newbery have always been at the forefront when the property market has kicked into life, and the number of enquiries of late has seen us busier than ever.

Recently, the government’s stamp duty holiday, in particular, has stoked up the market, but even with this being a major factor, the twin issues of the Covid-19 crisis and the country leaving the EU has, so far, had little impact here in the South East.

Recently we shared a BBC story, based on a survey from the Nationwide Building Society showing house prices in the UK were at an all-time high.

The story cites many reasons for this price increase but in such a strange time as we are going through the thoughts of experts are understandably cautious about future prospects.

Whilst talk about the property market is always of interest, we in the UK seem more fascinated than most nations regarding property, what is unquestionable is the fact that the geography of Staines will always mean it is a good place to buy.

The world is trying to get to grips with the changes that the pandemic has unleashed on us, but what remains a fact is the South East of England remains and will continue to remain one of the world’s best places to invest.

London is one of the world’s leading capitals, if not the world’s leading city, many millions of people from all over the planet migrate to the region every year, and the UK continues to be a leading economy.

We hope the country, and indeed the world, can soon recover from the difficulties of late and buoyed by a strong property market the UK can go from strength to strength.

Finally, just a reminder, that quality conveyancing is essential for those moving. After all, property purchases are extremely stressful. So if you are thinking of moving house, then it’s important to go with a solicitor who is local and who you can rely on to ensure your property move is hassle free.  Feel free to contact our Staines conveyancing property experts.
